We are committed to providing a safe, educational, and age-appropriate online environment for children and the families who support them. 2. Safe Content Standards

All content on Duskbloom Littles — including videos, stories, games, quizzes, and downloadable resources — is created or curated with children in mind. We follow these principles:

• We do not include violent, frightening, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate material.

3. No Data Collection from Children

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Specifically:

• We do not require user accounts, logins, or registration of any kind.
• We do not ask children for their name, email address, location, or any other personal details.
• We do not use behavioural tracking, targeted advertising, or profiling of any user.

4. No User-Generated Content or Social Features

To protect children from exposure to inappropriate content and unwanted contact, we do not include any social or user-generated features on our site. This means:

• No comments, forums, or user posts
• No chat, messaging, or direct communication between users
• No user profiles, avatars, or social features
• No file uploads from users
• No leaderboards or public-facing activity data

Children interact only with the educational content we have created. There is no way for users to contact or interact with one another through our site.

5. No Advertising

Duskbloom Littles does not display advertisements of any kind. We do not show banner ads, video ads, sponsored content, or pop-ups. We do not partner with ad networks, and we do not use cookies or tracking for advertising purposes. Our site is funded through voluntary support and premium resource sales, not advertising revenue.

6. External Links & Age Verification

We minimize the number of external links on our site. When we do link to third-party content, we follow these practices:

• All external links are carefully vetted for child safety and educational value before being included.
• Links that lead away from our site are clearly identifiable so that parents and children know they are leaving Duskbloom Littles.
• Certain external destinations — such as our Ko-fi support page — are intended for adults only. These links are protected by an age verification step that requires the user to confirm they are at least 13 years old before proceeding.
• We encourage parents and guardians to supervise children when they follow any link away from our site.

7. Safe Downloads

All downloadable resources (workbooks, activity packs, colouring pages, and other materials) are created by us and served directly from our website. Files are scanned for malware before being published. Downloads do not contain tracking scripts, executable code, or any form of embedded data collection. We recommend that adults supervise downloading and printing activities, and use reputable antivirus software as a general best practice.

8. Screen Time Awareness

We believe that learning happens best with balance. While our games, stories, and activities are designed to be engaging, we encourage families to set healthy screen time limits and take regular breaks. Many of our resources — including printable workbooks and activity packs — are designed to be used offline, giving children the opportunity to continue learning away from a screen.

9. Family Engagement

We design our content to encourage family participation in learning. We support this by:

• Providing parent-friendly resource descriptions so adults can choose appropriate material
• Including clear age recommendations for all content
• Offering printable resources that families can use together at home or in the classroom
• Maintaining a dedicated Parent, Partner, & Educator Hub with information and tools for the adults who support our young learners

10. Reporting Concerns
