Meet the fearless Viking warriors from the cold lands of Norway, Sweden, and Denmark! For over 300 years, these brave sea travelers sailed across dangerous oceans in their amazing wooden ships, exploring new lands and becoming some of history's greatest adventurers.
Vikings were incredible shipbuilders who created fast longships with curved dragon heads that could sail in both deep oceans and shallow rivers. These ships were so well-designed that Vikings could beach them right on shore and carry them overland when needed!

The Vikings were amazing explorers who reached North America 500 years before Christopher Columbus! Leif Erikson led Viking expeditions to a land they called "Vinland," which was probably Canada. Vikings also founded cities like Dublin in Ireland and Kiev in Ukraine during their travels.
