Welcome to the continent that's like a giant outdoor museum filled with incredible castles, ancient ruins, and beautiful art! Europe may be the second smallest continent, but it's packed with more history, languages, and cultures than you can imagine. From the snowy peaks of the Alps to the sunny beaches of the Mediterranean, Europe is a place where every country has its own special traditions, foods, and amazing stories to tell.
Europe covers only about 7% of Earth's land, but it's home to over 740 million people living in around 50 different countries! This continent is famous for its incredible history - it's where democracy was invented in ancient Greece, where the Renaissance brought us amazing art and science, and where many of the fairy tales we love today were first written down. Europe also has some of the world's most famous landmarks, from Big Ben in London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

What makes Europe extra special is how different each country is, even though they're all close together. You can travel just a few hundred miles and hear completely different languages, taste totally different foods, and see completely different styles of buildings and art. Europe has cozy villages with houses that look like gingerbread cottages, magnificent cathedrals that took hundreds of years to build, and modern cities with amazing museums and technology. The continent also has beautiful natural features like the Alps mountains, which are perfect for skiing, and thousands of islands scattered around its coastlines.
